The completed second print in the new winter series. As always I’m trying hard to keep the prints basic and simple and let the printing and the inks do some work, so far both of the two prints have been just four printings on each and the intention is to maintain this simplicity throughout the series. I’ve also kept the sizes the same as the first series at 150mm x 150mm or in proper measurements a six inch square. Every morning when I’m walking Lucie at first light or just before it’s a case of keep watching the sky and the interaction it has with the empty Fenland landscape and then the temptation to start painting again returns and maybe I will, once this series is finished. But I’m sure that, as always, another project will come trundling along to distract me. Then there are all the other jobs that need to be done around the house too and I haven’t managed to go fishing yet either. Meanwhile half of the prints in the first series have been sold so here’s hoping that this series is just as popular when they are all finished.
