Print number two in the new series and more experimenting with wiping the block, retaining the ink in the cut areas as well as the normal relief surface and printing on to wet ink, not for the purist but who really cares? The purists I suppose, but if you don’t experiment you don’t learn and there’s nothing like getting it wrong or it going wrong to increase the learning curve and, as my farmer neighbour says, ‘it’ll come in some time, you wait and see’. The Fenland landscape doesn’t change much, just with the seasons, but the sky changes and moves every second and I think that I have become an obsessive sky watcher.
