The simple addition of a feathery second colour has transformed this print, it’s amazing the difference a little colour makes, hopefully the client will use this image rather than the monochrome version for his book cover. This scanned proof is printed on Japanese paper, 54gsm Tosa Shi to be precise, and the paper holds the colour quite beautifully. The image has also been printed on Somerset and that image has a different quality but is equally lovely. To appreciate the subtle differences in print quality you do need to have the paper in your hand. Anyway another project finished and next it will a further view from a bridge that will be cut and proofed soon.
