I’ve finally finished the second linocut, a Spinone called Basil, not quite a name that oozes Italian super-cool but it suits him. He looks quite laid-back and a little arrogant and I look forward to meeting him and his Jack Russell friend Monty. If Basil likes a Jack Russell he’s absolutely OK by me. Now it’s finally back to my own work and the spoil heap at Kilton Ironstone Mine in North Yorkshire. Ah, but how could I forget there’s another Jack Russell to cut, this one is called Milo and is described as ‘grumpy’. This next print sounds a bit like a canine self-portrait then.
