The magazine illustration of the two young anglers is completed and the magazine and the author of the short story are delighted with the result. There are just six finished prints in the series and the addition of the polluted industrial sky and a few spot colours should make the image look very smart when it is in position in the magazine with the the text of the story. Now there’s the time to move on to planning the next series of prints and also a lighthearted book about my hospital stay and subsequent course of radio therapy. All of that is to be progressed, but probably not finished before two looming book illustration projects arrive. Somebody once said to me that there’s nothing like being retired for a gentler pace of life.
Loving the sky in this one, John.
