Finally ‘Where are the Fellows who cut the Hay?’ is finished, printed, published, on the shelf and on sale. It seems an age since the project started and a lot has happened to me in that time but now that it is completed I’ve started work on another book project. It’s one that is mostly about two of my greatest passions, Angling and the Countryside but, as always, more on that in a later post. Back to ‘Where are the fellows who cut the Hay?, the original full colour illustration of the church and graveyard has been used on the endpapers but, after all, just ‘Where are the fellows who cut hay? Well they’re all underneath the grass and wild flowers of a typical English country churchyard in Suffolk.
congratulations!
you should be so proud of this! It is lovely.
and bittersweet to know it’s days gone by

Linda, Many thanks, yes you just move on, in fact it’s a bit like life in some ways. The new book will be an absolutecracker and there’s already going to be a second one! All the best to you and yours, John

I’m halfway through the book and really enjoying it. It helps that we stayed near Leiston last year so can relate to some of the places mentioned.
