You can now order the book online and direct from the publisher, Medlar Press, and before you know it it will be speeding towards you carefully wrapped and parcelled. Something for you to really look forward to in your morning post.

A book being published really does mark the end of a project and here it is; printed, bound, dust cover on and ready to read. You simply cannot do any more finessing or tweaking to it at all. But between Gareth, myself and Jon there’s another project being tossed around in our minds although it has yet to take on real form and shape the beginnings of the concept are there and slowly developing. Meanwhile there’s more work to do and complete so let’s crack on.
Just ordered the book and looking forward to it arriving.

Fantastic, I’m rereading it all as a finished piece, John

Hello John,
We did it!
An absolute pleasure to work with yourself and Medlar. Like you, I’ve reread the finished article. It’s as beautiful a book as one could hope for.

Gareth,
Good morning, I’m delighted that you like the proof. That is the print that was scanned for the cover of the book and no matter how good the scanner and four colour printing the image never gets the same subtlety in it. Well, it will but it becomes seriously expensive with four basic colours: yellow, magenta, cyan and black plus special colours added. I used to work years ago with a printer in Holland who specialised in jobs like that. Your print had to be trimmed to fit the scanner but a good framer should be able to make a great job of it, it tells a story!
All the best, John
