The front cover, or to be more precise, the dust jacket of the book, is now complete and printed in a combination of oil-based ink and watercolour ink and just to be different here’s two versions. At the top one without title is simply the original print and below the titling has been added, not the finished article but a dummy for advance publicity. Clive Gammon, the author, was a great writer and observer of his beloved South Wales and particularly Pembrokeshire, in some ways it was a pity that he was lured away to the United States to write for Sports Illustrated, that was definitely our loss. I’ve got five more chapter headings to finish and that will be the project finished for me but not for Jon Ward Allen at the Medlar Press who has to put the rest of the book together to get it ready for the printer for what I presume is going to be a late Autumn publication or maybe just a little earlier.

I really like that, John; both with and without the title. More skillage from the village.

The piece is lovely on its own but WOW! It comes to life on the dust jacket! You should be quite pleased. Great work.
