That’s the last two chapter headings completed and just to be different here they are with their appropriate text. It’s always a strange feeling when you come to the end of a project. Inevitably it’s hard to let go and accept that it is finished so you start re-examining the work you’ve produced for the project and start wondering if you should have done this and definitely have done that. Human nature I suppose, you always re-examine and scrutinise the work you have produced and start mentally altering the final print. Just ‘let go’ says the boss and contemplate your next project. And she is quite right,. My excuse is that it isn’t that easy, pathetic I know. So what is the next project? It’s lurking out there at the edge of my mind but I just can’t get hold of it yet. One thing I do know is that it will about the West Norfolk Fenland where we live or maybe the North east of England where we were both born. Decisions, decisions.

Coming to the end of a thing is hard. Letting go is even harder. I completely understand your feelings about that. You created it out of thin air – breathed it and coaxed it into being – and now your creation is out there on its own.
It’s a little like taking your first born child off to the first day of school and having to walk away – leaving them on their own to make their way without you. Sigh.
But “the boss” is right, it’s time. You have done your best, given it your all. Rest in that for a moment and then begin dreaming of your next project.
