A West Norfolk landmark, the sugar beet factory at Wissington, when the sugar beet is being processed through the cold months there is always a cloud of steam rising high in the sky or being ripped away by the winter winds. When we first drove up to the factory in our early days of exploring the area the sun was setting and the field in front of us and running up to the River Wissey had a huge crop of carrots that were about to be harvested and that’s where the orange influence came from. Sunset and carrots.
