Fenland prints

I cut and produced this print for a friend’s son who is at university studying the music industry and music production and everything else that the subject entails. The linocut is going to be used on a CD cover after digital manipulation and goodness knows what else, it’s a mystery to me so far, but I am looking forward to seeing the finished graphics. Anyway the brief was to show a couple of old fen labourers sheltered by the reeds and sitting by a fire having a natter after a long hard day at work on the land. They’re enjoying some cider and inevitably I’ve added a Jack Russell Terrier who is either supervising or disapproving of the whole proceedings. The print is really an illustration and not an editioned print.
