Angling and watery landscapes

A small linocut print that eventually became a Christmas card. I suppose it that in reality it reflects my love of pike and perch fishing, weir pools and beer really. The love of the weir pool comes from fishing the River Thames and the River Kennet over many years although not always from a boat. The linocut was originally going to be produced as a rough workout for a larger print but the other half and the family liked it as it stood so, with a little more work, it became the finished article in an editioned run of fifty five prints.

A pool, a pike, then a pint. Linocut print in five colours on 300gsm Fabriano Artistico Brilliant White HP in an edition of fifty-five.
