North East industrial prints

The heading is partly true, or partly accurate if you prefer, the print is set in the old Ironstone mining area of Cleveland in North East Yorkshire . Liverton Mines is a small town, or community in the old ironstone mining area of Cleveland that used to feed the furnaces on the banks of River Tees in Middlesbrough and downstream through South Bank, Grangetown and Warrenby. The main subject in the print is the fox that had sprinted across the road in front of my father’s Morris Minor on a freezing frosty morning.
