Upwell Fen in the depths of winter when we actually had some snow, in fact in the depths of this winter at the end of January 2019. This was a day when we had freezing fog, the temperature well into the minus degrees zone and a thin layer of snow just to complete the winter picture. Definitely not driving weather with the amount of black ice that was on the minor roads, the sort of weather when you light the woodturner and stay at home. A couple of days later and it had all disappeared and it was raining. How unusual.
