Odds and sods, bits and pieces

A rod and float maker who lives in the Netherlands contacted me about the availability of my print ‘The Float Box’ after his enquiry he very kindly ordered and bought a copy of this somewhat complicated multi-coloured print. Over the following week the print was worked on and duly finished off, carefully wrapped and parcelled and then despatched to the Netherlands. Somehow it managed to arrive at it’s destination in the Netherlands quicker than another parcel that was sent to London on the same day, you win some and you lose some. Now the print has been beautifully framed and here it is in the ‘man cave’ before being hung displayed along with a selection of floats and some very, very nice split cane rods. There are fly rods in the racking behind sporting some splendid hardwood reel seats and what looks like a very nice split cane float road right next to the floats, very appropriate.
